Attica Green Expo 2026 took place from 27 to 30 May at the Tae Kwon Do Olympic Stadium in Palaio Faliro, bringing together public institutions, municipalities, businesses and environmental organisations. The fifth edition focused on environmental protection, the circular economy and sustainable development. The exhibition also featured discussions on climate resilience and green technologies, alongside a live demonstration of a crisis management operations centre showcasing digital tools for monitoring and protecting Mount Hymettus.
Caius attended Attica Green Expo 2026, joining the wider conversation on environmental protection, climate resilience and sustainable development. The visit offered an opportunity to explore green technologies and potential connections with organisations working towards shared environmental goals. These themes closely reflect the company’s work through its three products: caius paths, which automates trail mapping using satellite data; druiter, a rural travel app connecting travellers with local destinations and experiences; and caius paskou, a smart, digital solution for livestock farmers. Caius’s attendance reflected its interest in practical innovation that supports rural communities and responsible natural resource management.
We followed with particular interest the panel “Mountain Tourism: The Role of Mountain Destinations in Sustainable Development,” featuring Deputy Minister of Tourism Anna Karamanli and the mayors of Meteora, Sikyona and Souli. The discussion explored how year-round tourism, hiking trails, outdoor activities and local heritage can revitalise mountain communities, strengthen local economies and create opportunities for residents. These priorities closely align with Caius’s mission to connect technology with the needs of rural communities. Caius continues working towards the sustainable development of Greece’s rural areas, helping unlock their potential while preserving their natural and cultural wealth.
