The 1st Panhellenic Conference on Medical Physics, held on 23-25 September 2022 in Athens, Greece, organized by the Hellenic Association of Medical Physicists and the Hellenic Society of Nanotechnology in Health Sciences, has been completed.
The purpose of this Conference was to highlight current issues in Medical Physics and related subjects was implemented in the best way.

Caius had developed a project that was presented with an e-poster on the subject: Efficient Machine Learning Algorithms for Breast Cancer Prediction, receiving positive reviews and collaboration proposals for machine learning applications on medical data.
The success of the conference exceeded all expectations and was characterized as a high level scientific event. The participation of scientists in the field, especially young scientists, was also impressive.
Some numbers that highlight the above mentioned: - 171 high-level scientific papers were presented - 38 scientific sessions were held in two parallel halls with 96 invited talks given by 92 invited speakers from Greece, Europe and the USA - the registered delegates reached 702, far exceeding the expectations of the organizers and the most optimistic forecasts.
