The GreenTech Challenge by ESU NTUA 2022, the 6th in a row, was held with great success and participation, during the 3 days 09-11 December at the National Technical University of Athens.
The significant increase in the number of innovative proposal submissions and the participation of students from all Universities of the country confirm that this is the largest national Green Innovation program.
The competitive part of the programme concluded on Sunday with the finalists of the two categories (Innovation Idea Holders and Early Stage Startups) presenting their innovative ideas and solutions to the jury, in the presence of eminent speakers, representatives of the business world, members of the academic community, mentors and fellow competitors.
Caius as a continuation of its successful run in the Smart Forest Innovation Challenge, was invited to present the "caius paths" project during the final stage of the competition.
The main contributor to the Program as its scientific coordinator is Professor Konstantinos Aravosis, Director of the Research Unit for Economic Environment and Sustainable Development at the National Technical University of Athens, UNESCO Chair for Green Innovation and Circular Innovation and Secretary General for Forests, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.
The Innovation Agency and organizing partner of the Programme is Mantis Beyond Innovation, represented by Mr. Christos Nikoloudis, Founder & CEO of the company and Head of Research of the Research Unit for Economic Environment and Sustainable Development at the National Technical University of Athens, UNESCO Chair for Green Innovation and Circular Innovation. Mantis Beyond Innovation undertakes the training and consulting of participants and digital management of the Programme through the Mantis Innovation Management Software platform.
