The path of Aoos is taking shape!
On December 2nd, a significant event titled "The Path of Aoos, from Metsovo to Konitsa" took place in the hall of the public library of Konitsa. Distinguished attendees included the newly appointed Mayors of Metsovo, Maria Christina Averoff, and Konitsa, Andreas Papaspyrou, along with various scientists, researchers and experts in the field of trail maintenance and promotion.
Caius presented its comprehensive solution, demonstrating how it can a) identify lost old trails, b) map the entire network of trails, c) inform and connect competent authorities and hikers, and d) promote local actions, attractions, and amenities. The presentation garnered enthusiastic comments and acceptance from the audience!
The hope is for immediate progress, enabling the swift and cost-effective mapping of all trails to establish an infrastructure that attracts significant international interest from nature enthusiasts!
