1st AI and Beers meetup in Ioannina
The first AI and beers meetup in Ioannina was successfully completed on Wednesday 11 January. We talked about AI solutions developed by companies and founders from Epirus. The event was supported by AI Group - AI Catalyst.
In the world of real time, AI seems to be the main tool that can greatly assist in this task. At the meetup, Thanasis Navrozoglou, CEO of Natech SA, spoke about solutions to combat fraud in online transactions based on smart systems and how the technology is personalized for each individual.
Marios Glytsos, Head of Artificial Intelligence team of Caius is presenting the Space Connection of "caius paths" alongside George Mendrinos, CEO of Caius.
Caius presented its "caius paths" project, whose database has been mainly derived from regions of Ioannina and mainly around its base in Metsovo and Valia Kalda (national park of Pindos), receiveing valuable feedback from AI experts and enthusiasts.
The event was attended by both the university community of Ioannina, Athens and Patras, while there was also a great participation from the start-up business sector in the wonderful environment of WOW Branding & Design.
